Rihanna’s Elle Magazine Photo Shoot

For this month’s cover shoot, ELLE Creative Director Joe Zee imagined a romantic narrative starring Rihanna as the fiery heroine in a passionate affair with a salsa dancer. On an early February morning, the ELLE production team transformed the Veluzat Motion Picture Ranch northwest of Los Angeles into the ideal backdrop: a windswept town evocative of documentary photographer Robert Polidori’s shots of deserted, patina-rich Havana interiors.

Frank Ocean – Thinking About You Single Cover

Thinkin Bout You

Frank Ocean is carving out his own lane. A Frankie look-alike gets behind the wheel of a race car in an arcade on the cover art for the Odd Future affiliate’s new single “Thinkin Bout You.”

The tender ballad, which he originally penned for Roc Nation songstress Bridget Kelly, will be released to digital retailers on April 10, while Frank’s Def Jam debut is due later this year.

“It succinctly defines me as an artist for where I am right now and that was the aim,” he said of the follow-up to the acclaimed Nostalgia, Ultra. “It’s about the stories. If I write 14 stories that I love, then the next step is to get the environment of music around it to best envelop the story and all kinds of sonic goodness.”

Big Sean, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, & Kanye West – Mercy Artwork

Music rap compadres unveiled the artwork to the single “Mercy” that’s reminiscent of the visuals from their highly touted G.O.O.D. Friday series. While the physical music for “Mercy” didn’t accompany the artwork, group member Pusha-T confirmed the track would surface this coming Friday.
