IRS Getting In Nas Ass For Them Taxes!

Check out the report by TMZ:

The next time you buy a Nas album, you’re really just handing your money over to the government — because the rapper’s delinquent tax filings have caused Uncle Sam to begin garnishing his wages … TMZ has learned.

As TMZ first reported, Nas is in tax debt up to his eyeballs … if his eyeballs were $6,000,000 tall.

So the government has finally tired of waiting for Nas to pay up, so they fileddocuments in the state of Georgia to have his wages garnished — via the music publishing organizations BMI and ASCAP — until the debt is paid off.

So if you like Nas, but hate the government … perhaps you’ll want to find an alternative way to listen to his music.

Looks like Kobe Bryant still has plenty of spending cash, because he just dropped a HUGE chunk of change on a sick new car. Must be nice.

According to our sources, Kobe’s new ride is a Ferrari 458 Italia (see below). We’re told the Black Mamba paid $329,000 yesterday for the car … which he paid for in full with a check.

Currensy Sues Dame Dash!

TMZ reports claim New Orleans, Louisiana rapper Currensy is currently suing former Roc-A-Fella Records executive and Jay-Z colleague, Damon Dash for distributing his music without permission.

Curren$y filed the lawsuit against Jay-Z‘s old biz partner and former co-owner of Roc-A-Fella Records — claiming he and Dash tried to negotiate an agreement to release music together in 2010 … but the deal never materialized.

Curren$y claims Dash released two of his albums in 2010 — but the two still couldn’t reach an agreement … so Curren$y signed with Warner Bros. in January 2011.

But according to the lawsuit, Damon was unmoved — and CONTINUED to release Curren$y’s music despite the new WB contract, which gave WB exclusive rights to Curren$y’s jams.

Now, Curren$y is demanding the producer quit profiting off him in any way. Curren$y also wants $1.5 million in damages.
